NextChapter Counseling was created to be a welcoming, steady place for people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for something to change. The practice is intentionally small so care can stay personal, flexible, and responsive.

Alex draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. Alex has a passion for working with adults who want to set healthier boundaries, notice patterns in their lives and relationships, and step into new chapters with more confidence.
Alex also works with adolescents down to age 13 and likes to bring in activities or creativity when it helps. Therapy can be a place to uncover the wisdom you already carry and build a stronger sense of self-worth.
If you are looking for someone who can be honest, empathetic, and still make room for lightheartedness and laughter, Alex may be a good fit.
NextChapter is preparing a dedicated supervision section for clinicians who are looking for a supportive place to grow, ask questions, and keep developing their clinical voice.
Details about supervision format, availability, fit, and requirements can be added here once the final supervision offering is ready.
This section can later include who supervision is for, what Alex offers, licensure details, meeting structure, and how to inquire.
NextChapter Counseling accepts a variety of insurance plans. If you do not see your insurance listed, reach out to ask about self-pay and out-of-network options.
Aetna, UMR, Cigna, Medica, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UCare are listed as accepted plans. Coverage can vary, so it is still a good idea to verify benefits before scheduling.
Under the law, providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical services.
You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. Learn more at cms.gov/nosurprises.
